Your portrait will be more than a picture; it will be a reflection of who you are and your ongoing life story. We design portrait concepts to meet your needs.  Susan will discuss how to prepare for your portrait session and how to incorporate personal items from home to tell the story about things important to you.

The Studio Portrait Session
Soft, warm lighting is Susan’s signature style. Her lighting style creates depth and realism in the portrait. Allow an hour for your session. The first fifteen minutes are set aside for setting up. If your children are being photographed, parents are encouraged to watch. After your session, an appointment will be made for you to return to see your proofs.

Location Portrait Session
Natural settings and unique locations make memorable, one of a kind statements about who you are. Allow an hour for your session; again, the first fifteen minutes will be used to set up. After your session, an appointment will be made for you to return to see your proofs.

Preview Presentation
Susan allows an hour for the presentation and selection, helping you critique your images to determine your favorites. She will discuss what makes a portrait timeless by discussing expression and composition. During this time you will decide on the sizes and finishes you would like to order.

Finished Portraits
Each finished piece is hand crafted and guaranteed for a lifetime. All finished portraits are retouched. Don't worry about blemishes, scratches, redness or scars. Darkness and lines under the eyes are softened. Susan will call you when your finished portraits are ready. 

Embracing Baby
This photographic program features 5 sessions taken at milestones during your new baby's first year. The sessions are infant (in first 3 weeks following baby’s birth), 3 months., 6 months, 9 months, and 1 year. The baby plan includes 100 custom birth announcements (size 4 x 6), one 5x7  brag book, 100 custom holiday note cards after the session closest to the holidays, and a beautiful 11x14 canvas gallery wrapped print after the one year portrait session, as long as 5 sessions in babys’ first year are completed. Sessions in this plan may include immediate family members at no extra charge. These are the milestones that you'll look at for years to come and relive over and over.  Fee $1995.

Mom & Me
An alternative baby plan, Mom & Me, includes both a maternity and newborn photo session either in my studio or in your home. The maternity session will take place during your third trimester (32-38 weeks) and a newborn session within 3 weeks of your child being born. You will receive two 11 x14 and four 5x7  portraits from your two sessions. Fee $650, includes photography and prints.

A Day in My Life
This fun filled, unique experience follows your child all day and captures the essence of your child doing exactly what he/she does on a normal day. This includes a preparatory consultation at your home, a full day of photojournalistic photography, and online proofs. A Day in the Life photography is always on location, in your family environment, and includes travel to schools, play groups, sports or lesson practice, etc.  Fee $950.
